We are now accepting submissions for the #6 Rolling Film Festival and are we looking forward to seeing your films made by and about Roma.

Rolling Film Festival seeks films with a strong presence of the filmmaker's point of view both in form and content. Cinematographic qualities, and the honesty of the filmmaker’s approach to their subjects are highly valued.

“Folktale – The New Reality” is this year’s theme of the festival. In todays society the Roma lives are often seen as a folktale and often treated as one. The transformation of the folktale towards reality is sometimes very close. The only question remains is “what is the reality and what is fiction in the lives of Roma today?”.

International and national fiction, animation, documentaries, shorts and feature films will be shown during 5 days of the festival at the ABC Cinema in Pristina, Kosovo in March 22nd to 26 of March 2021.

We are accepting films from 2017.

Deadline 1st July.
                    Extended deadline 11th of August.
