Sami Mustafa [Artistic Director]
Sami is an independent film maker from the Roma community of Plemetina, Kosovo. For seven years, he has been writing scripts, producing, and directing for more than twenty documentaries, docu-fiction and promotional films about his community, human rights and NGO projects in Kosovo, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia, and France. His films have won several prizes, and been screened at several film festivals - including Cannes in 2007. He is director of his own production house, Romawood.

Lara Cork [Project Manager]
Lara came to Kosovo in 2008 to work with Balkan Sunflowers as Development Coordinator. She graduated from Sussex University with a BA in Social Anthropology in 2004 and completed an MA in Visual Anthropology at the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK. Lara produced and directed a film with the Dutch Section of Amnesty International as part of a campaign against discrimination in Europe, and has worked for various film festivals in the Netherlands including the International Documentary Festival in Amsterdam, International Film Festival of Rotterdam, Movies that Matter. She also has several years experience in managing a community centre cinema in Leiden, The Netherlands. |

Bajram Kinoli - Kafu- [Coordinator Officer]
Bajram Kinoli Bajram Kinolli, known as “Kafu” is Roma singer from Gjakova in Kosova. Reggae, Rock and Fanky music in bands with “The Strings”, “Sunrise”, “Hearly Davitson” performed in Kosovo and in Albania since 2006. He got involved in a NGO “Global Perspective Development Center” as “Junior, Youth Educator” and “Social Dance Theatre” to which has been performed in most of the cities of Kosovo promoting a social life, justice, human rights etc.
